These are made of pure Kashmir cocoon silk. In silk carpets we have two varieties. One is 100% silk and another is 80% silk pile and 20% base cotton 100 % silk carpets, are known as silk on silk, carpets. These carpets are having high number of knots starting from 576 knots per square inch up to 2000 knots per square inch.
